The Lawn Layover, presented by Sun Country, is back with a bang to kick off a long-awaited interconference matchup between the Loons and Inter Miami. Starting at noon, join us for the biggest pregame party yet! And it’s free. If you have tickets to the game, you can join the pregame party and then head into the stadium before kickoff. If you don’t have tickets, you can still show up and keep the party going outside with a watch party on the Great Lawn throughout the match.
A live performance by Grammy award-winning, multi-platinum selling rock band Soul Asylum will take to the Lawn Layover stage. You might know this Minneapolis rock band for their 1992 album, “Grave Dancers Union.” Before that, Minneapolis-based indie rock group Porch Light will jam out. Their music blends ‘90s Radiohead with the likes of Paramore, Slow Pulp, and Big Thief to create a relatable, intimate musical experience.
These bands, plus a live DJ before and between acts, will be the soundtrack to a day full of festivities on the Great Lawn, including games, giveaways, interactive experiences, and more. Fuel up with a selection of food trucks, grab-and-go concessions stands, and mobile ordering from the Grand Casino Brew Hall.
When the match starts, you can watch the action live on a giant screen on the Great Lawn just outside the stadium. No ticket, no problem. This is for everyone. What a way to spend a Saturday! We’ll see you there, loyal Loons.
